Green chicken curry/Coriander chicken

Chicken – 1/2 kg

Shallots – 10 to 12

Ginger garlic paste – 2 tblspn

Oil – 2 tblspn

Salt as required

Coriander leaves – 1 bunch

Green chilly – 4

Turmeric powder – 1/4 tspn

Chilly powder – 1/2 tspn

Garam Masala – 1/2 tspn

Cumin seeds – 1/2 tspn

Fennel seeds – 1/2 tspn

Cardamom – 3

Cinnamon stick – 1 inch

Cloves – 2

Curd – 1 tblspn

Method :

1. Heat the oil in the pan, add cloves, cinnamon stick, cardamom, ginger garlic paste and sauté till raw smell goes off.

2. Add chicken pieces, turmeric powder, chilly powder , salt and sauté for two minutes. Now close the lid and cook for five minutes.

3. Meanwhile in another pan add oil, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, onion ,green chilly and sauté for two minutes.

4. Cool them and add to the mixer, add coriander leaves and grind them to a smooth paste.

5. Now add the ground paste to chicken, mix well, add little water close the lid and again cook for 10 to 15 minutes until oil separates.

6. Finally add curd, Garam Masala give a nice mix for a minute. Now spicy green chicken curry is ready to be served with rice or roti.
